Prayer Circle

Prayer is a word with many meanings.

A conversation with God

Silence · Music · Movement · Longing · Gratitude

Or simply the opening of the heart.

I believe the world needs spaces where people of different backgrounds, ages and beliefs can come together around what connects us — our longing for something greater than ourselves, our connection to the Divine, and our shared wish to bring more goodness, peace and love into the world.

Once a month, on Friday evenings, we gather for an embodied prayer circle rooted in Jewish wisdom and inspired by the practices of Yoga.

We begin by arriving in the body — using movement, breath and somatic practices to release, soften and awaken the body, heart and voice. From there, we turn inward, tune our “inner instrument” and bring our attention to the intention of the heart.

Through meditation, singing, movement and shared prayer, we create a space where prayer becomes something we can feel and embody — not only something we say.

This is not a religious service, and there is no particular way you need to believe or pray.

It is an open space for every human being with a beating heart who longs to come closer to the Divine, to connect with their own heart, and to be part of something greater than themselves.

And then, we eat together.
We bless one another, bless the world, and share a Friday evening as one big human family.

I believe that when many different people gather with a shared intention to bring more light into the world, we increase the light in the world — and perhaps, this is how redemption looks like.

Come as you are.

Bring your voice, your heart, your questions — and your prayer.

Come with love, exactly as you are 🤍
